Owned by the family for over twenty years, this lovely Victorian rectory required the design of an entirely new kitchen, living and dining space to fit in with the clients’ lifestyle.
Managing each aspect of this project, from the architectural design to the interior design and project management, ensured every small detail was picked up on (a designated space was even created for the trusty Belling warmer cabinet). Externally, the extension was designed to reflect the details of the original house with handmade bricks, timber and stone detailing to match. A modern country style was chosen for the interior incorporating limestone, wood and leather. The clients’ beloved art collection was also carefully integrated into the design.
The outcome is a wonderful, highly-personalised space for living and entertaining which works seamlessly with the original house. See the results in the gallery below. To read more about this extension project, please find the Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms article here.
