Pippa Paton design wins a place in the prestigious ‘Andrew Martin Interior Design Review Book’ – the bible of the international interior design world.
The ‘Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year Award’ and accompanying ‘Interior Design Review Book’, a luxury glossy hardcover book, are together the most prestigious and important event and published volume in the global interior design world. Pippa Paton Design, a leading Cotswold-based interior design firm first won the accolade of being featured in the luxury book in 2011, and again in 2013.
Pippa Paton said: ‘I am thrilled to have our work featured for the third time in the Andrew Martin Interior Design Review Book. I have collected each issue since it began, 10 years before I started my business. I have always had a strong passion for interior design and so to have my own work featured is a great honour’.
This year marks both the 10th anniversary of Pippa Paton Design and the 20th anniversary of the hugely influential ‘Interior Design Review Book’, described as the bible for the interior design world.
Pippa Paton and husband Scott founded Pippa Paton Design, a luxury design, architecture and project management studio serving the Cotswolds and London, in 2006. During the past 10 years they have built up an impressive portfolio of fabulous projects including everything from an historic Thames riverboat to a stunning Grade II listed Cotswold village estate; state-of-the-art pool complexes to bespoke kitchen designs; the renovation of listed manor houses to quintessential Cotswold cottages; and from large family homes in West London to a contemporary apartment in London’s Neo Bankside. Most recently completed include two large Cotswold barn conversions and a contemporary architectural re-design with complete bespoke interior design of a large family country home.
Martin Waller’s passion for good design prompted him to found the ‘Interior Designer of the Year award’ in 1996, which soon became the pinnacle of the interior design industry, being described by the Sunday Times as “The Oscars for the interior design world”. The award, which attracts entries from designers worldwide, is judged by a distinguished panel that has included Jo Malone, Terry O’Neil, A A Gill and the Duchess of York with the list of recipients reading like a ‘who’s who’ of the interior design industry with previous winners Kelly Hoppen, Kit Kemp and Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
